Life Coaching for, and when could I fit it into my diary, which is already
overloaded?"
Fair point. Perhaps you would not benefit from Life Coaching, Not everyone has the need or
commitment required for it. However we would ask you to consider a few issues.
You probably enjoy your success but do you enjoy your life? What about your
family? What about your relationships? What about yourself?
In the higher echelons of the corporate world, although the
benefits can be huge, the pressures for performance and the pressures on time
are also enormous. You are expected to see 'The Big Picture' but it is often
difficult to take the time to stand back and assess your own position within
that picture and to consider your own needs and desires beyond those of the
company and the business world you are, to a greater or lesser degree, defined
by.
Life Coaching is not a form of consultancy, nor is it about
mentoring, nor is it about helping you to do your job better, though it may be
about helping you to achieve more in your job, and to get more satisfaction from
what you do achieve. Life Coaching is about helping you to disassociate yourself
from the corporate world, even if, initially, it's for only one hour a month,
and to look into yourself and decide what your own personal, private goals are.
Not business goals, Not monetary goals, Not company goals, YOUR goals.
Life Coaching is about transference of the corporate success
factor to the total-life success factor. This is not intended to sidetrack you
from your business career, but, possibly, to enhance your ability to control and
manage that career, it is intended to help you to improve all those aspects of
your life, both public and private, where you truly believe life could and
should be better.
