Fast track six months of private personalised protégé mentoring programme which follows the workshop part of the diploma. You will work with your private Life Coach/Mentor on an individually tailored program designed by you and your mentor to maximize your talents and competencies. Your mentor will be fully qualified and running a successful coaching practice for a minimum of 3 years, he/she will have attended exclusive mentor training with Curly Martin.
Your 6 month protégé programme consists of twelve highly focused 45 minute sessions to inspire and maintain your motivation during your start-up phase. This protégé programme is intended to protect you from the normal distractions and energy dips which are created by outside influences and the demands of starting a new venture. It has been said 'Two heads are better than one' and we agree.
Your mentor/coach will use a couple of the sessions to observe/supervise you coaching one of your clients and afterwards to offer you valuable feedback on your strengths as a coach and ideas on areas where you could improve your skills to enhance the coaching experience for your clients.

I hope that you are both well.

Well I can’t believe that my 6 months of mentor coaching have passed, although the weather outside my window has certainly changed since my visit to Bournemouth, I have learned such a lot in such a short time. I am absolutely sure that this is in no small way due to being mentored by Veronica. Below I have outlined just a few of the insights, tools and lasting memories that I will take with me as I move forward in this wonderful journey into coaching.

Generosity – You were so generous in what you shared with me Veronica. The experiences, approaches that work and did not work so well for you, stories from your own clients, even your own pricing structure! I am forever grateful for the information that you shared with me and it has really helped me to shape my own practice. Practicality – By offering practical solutions to real-time issues that I was having with business and clients saved me so much time and energy, and it also contributed enormously to my confidence. Value Myself – By teaching me to value myself and my time, I now consider myself a professional and I charge (and get paid!) accordingly. I now teach this to my clients as a matter of course. Acknowledgement of my circumstances – Although I am sure that you must have been sick of hearing it by session 12, you fully appreciated the lack of concentrated time that I have to spend on my coaching and my practice and for that, I am truly grateful.

I liked that you always took me seriously even though in retrospect I was reacting a lot at the beginning. You could improve the amount of constructive criticism that you gave me. Unless I am a natural I’m sure there are other aspects of my coaching I could improve! Overall I like your selfless generosity of your experiences, which I will now share with my clients and other coaches that have not had the benefit of being mentored.

Further to our last coaching session on Wednesday I just wanted to formally feedback to you my thoughts on the whole mentor coaching process.
I have to say that I am so glad that I opted for the gold package and that I was allocated you as my coach. Since our first session you have been extremely supportive and have challenged me to achieve the goals that I set myself and although I haven’t always been able to achieve the original timescales your support and challenge has always got me re-focused very quickly. More importantly you always gave me the opportunity to analyse what I was doing (or not doing as the case maybe!) and what I needed to do to get where I wanted to be. I can hand on heart say that without your support I would not have got so far down the line with my course work and setting up my practice – your advice in this area has been excellent. It has given me plenty of food for thought in how I might grow my practice in the future and given me ideas to look at that I wouldn’t have ordinarily considered.
Your coaching style for me was just what I needed. You are friendly, upbeat, probing and challenging all at the same time the type of approach that I hope to develop with my clients. I have now completed my sessions with Ann Johnson who has been my Mentor coach since I applied for the Gold Option. I thought you might be interested to know how it went.
Ann is a very warm, caring coach, who really seems to understand the concerns and worries of the student. Ann is excellent at inspiring and motivating you onwards even when the going gets tough. She really seemed to genuinely understand how difficult I found marketing, and helped me to reinterpret marketing in a new less formidable way, and to look for alternative ways of marketing that I felt more comfortable with. When being coached by Ann you are in no doubt that she is 100% willing you on to succeed. She is a very generous coach who never hesitates to share information and ideas she has come across herself whilst building up her own practice that she feel will be of use to her student.
